Grizz Win 5-1 to Advance to Western Conference Finals

West Valley City, Utah - Charle-Edouard D'Astous scored 2 goals and 1 assist and Trent Miner saved 32 of 33 to lead the Utah Grizzlies to a 5-1 victory over the Rapid City Rush to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2008. The Grizzlies will face the Toledo Walleye in round 3 of the 2022 Kelly Cup Playoffs. D'Astous scored 5:07 into the contest with a power play goal to give Utah a 1-0 lead. Checkers Send Bridgeport Packing with 4-0 Win

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Checkers stepped up and shut down Bridgeport in Monday's Game 4, sending the Islanders packing with a decisive 4-0 win. Drew Parrish Named Texas League Pitcher of the Week

SPRINGDALE, Ark - Minor League Baseball announced the Pitcher and Player of the Week honors for each of the respective Player Development Leagues and Naturals' left-hander Drew Parrish was named the Texas League Pitcher of the Week for his performance the week of May 9 through May 15. Parrish has now claimed the league's Pitcher of the Week award back-to-back weeks, previously being honored with the award for the week of May 2 to May 8.
