Homeruns, Missed Opportunities Afflict Braves in Loss

ROME, GA - A couple of longballs from Hickory's Ortiz and 12 left on base for the Braves resulted in a 7-2 loss for Rome on Wednesday night. Rome (10-10, 40-46) drew first blood on the Crawdads (15-4, 42-38) in the bottom of the second inning. Geraldo Quintero and Ethan Workinger led off the inning with back-to-back singles.
