Giants Acquire Local Forward Marinkovic from Hitmen

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants announced today the acquisition of 2004-born forward Tomis Marinkovic (Coquitlam, B.C.) from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for 2005-born forward Connor Dale (St. Albert, Alta). Marinkovic, 19, played in 56 games last season for the Hitmen, scoring five goals and adding 11 assists for 16 points. He also suited up in five playoff games.
