Nneka Ogwumike Earns All-WNBA Second Team Honors

WNBA Los Angeles Sparks September 15, 2022 - LOS ANGELES - The WNBA announced today that Los Angeles Sparks forward Nneka Ogwumike earned All-WNBA Second Team honors, her fifth All-WNBA Team recognition. Ogwumike was a member of the All-WNBA First Team in 2016 and the Second Team in 2014, 2017, and 2019. For the season, Ogwumike averaged 18.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. She shot an efficient 54.4% from the field and 36.8% from the 3-point line. WNBA Los Angeles Sparks August 30, 2022 - LOS ANGELES - The WNBA announced today that Los Angeles Sparks guard Brittney Sykes was named to the All-Defensive Second Team. Sykes earned an All-Defensive Team spot for the third consecutive season. She made her first All-Defensive team in 2020 as a second team member. Rae Burrell Injury Update

WNBA Los Angeles Sparks August 2, 2022 - LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Sparks announced today that rookie forward Rae Burrell will miss the remainder of the 2022 regular season as she continues to rehab from knee surgery on May 27, 2022. Burrell is progressing well and is expected to make a full recovery.
