K-Wings Sign Forward Luke Morgan

January 21, 2025 - KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks, announced Tuesday that forward Luke Morgan has signed a Standard Player Contract with the team. Morgan, 27, is a 5-foot 11-inch, 190-pound, Brighton, MI native who's in his third professional season, playing one game with the K-Wings this season. Gianfranco Cassaro Recalled by Lehigh Valley from Loan to Reading

January 21, 2025 - Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced that defenseman Gianfranco Cassaro has been recalled by Lehigh Valley from his loan to Reading. Cassaro, 25, has registered a team-high 23 points (6g-17a), along with eight penalty minutes and a -11 rating in 39 games to begin his professional career with Reading this season. Defenseman Chas Sharpe Named Inglasco ECHL Player of the Week

January 21, 2025 - Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, along with the ECHL, today announced that defenseman Chas Sharpe was named Inglasco Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon. Sharpe recorded four goals and an assist this past week, en route to helping Cincinnati record three victories in that span. Sharpe, 21, becomes the first player this season to win the weekly league award this season for the Cincinnati Cyclones.
